With the advent of the new poseable dolls like Moxie Girlz and Liv Dolls, combined with the availability of affordable quality video cameras, and easy online video publishing such as YouTube, it is easy to make stop motion videos of dolls in action!
When children used to play with dolls, they would use their imaginations and imagine worlds and scenarios and relationships and conflicts. It was all in their very own imaginary world, which was either kept to themselves or shared with one or two close playmates.
Well, not anymore! Now kids and grownups can stretch their imaginations and share their very own creations with the world. Playing is a healthy activity, and it stimulates creativity and imagination. Making and publishing stop motion videos is just an extension of that.
There are many creative stop motion videos on You Tube, especially featuring Liv Dolls and Moxie Girlz. There are also some very prolific young film makers out there. This particular video is of Lexa, a Moxie Girlz Doll, and swimming is one of my favorites. It’s simple and yet really well done.
